Are you an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, or other creative person? Use your skills to end the cruel and unnecessary use of hides and other animal materials in the fashion industry!
Student Aarushi believes that art and activism go hand in hand – art can be a powerful tool to influence others. We’re excited to partner with her in our new competition: YOU are creating the next sticker to help us end the sale of animal skins, feathers, wool and all other violent merchandise at Urban Outfitters stores.
Urban Outfitters, Inc. brands, including Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People, continue to sell leather, wool, mohair, cashmere, fluff and silk apparel and other items. To obtain these materials, tender cows, goats, sheep, geese and others are bred, tortured, maimed and slaughtered – all in the name of vanity.
Students from coast to coast protest the brutal sale of animal skins by Urban Outfitters, implement school projects about the cruelty of carrying animals, and use stickers to get public attention. Help us create the next sticker to get into the hands of activists across the country!
Submit your creation using the form below, then enter the competition by promoting it on social media. We will be accepting applications until Feb 21, 7:00 pm ET. We’ll then pick the top 10 and share them on Instagram, so people can click on the link in our bio to vote on their favorite by February 26th at 12pm ET. On February 26th, you can visit our virtual art exhibition where we will showcase the finalists and announce the winner.
If you win the competition, your design will be printed on a limited edition sticker that activists can order online for free! Your design may be the reason someone decides to wear only vegan clothes.
By submitting this form, you agree to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, and to receive emails from us.
