William and Harry became public knowledge after Harry admitted to them in the documentary “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey” and the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. But that was just the tip of the iceberg.
According to Royal biographer Robert Lacey, there was another major blowout between the princes over something Meghan did. In his book “Battle of the Brothers,” Lacey claims that the dust-up occurred after Meghan guest-edited an issue of British Vogue, a privilege usually reserved for members of the royal family.
Instead of gracing the magazine cover herself, Meghan chose to take on the role of editor, leading to tensions with Prince William. The rift deepened as William attempted to have a frank discussion with Harry about not rushing into marriage with the “Suits” star. However, instead of having an open conversation, there was a heated explosion, causing a further rift between the brothers.
The conflict resulted in the Sussexes canceling their summer trip to Balmoral Castle with the rest of the royal family.
