The animal experimentation industry exists in a land forgotten by time. As the world continues to spin and technology advances at a rapid pace, pushing humanity toward the rapid development of advances previously thought impossible, animal experimenters cling to a rusty past.
Why animal experiments are thrown into the dustbin of history
Humanity can now play with the remote-controlled cars that we put on Mars – on Mars!– but animal experimenters are still tie monkeys to restrained chairs Developed in the 1950s, when people called on the phone by sticking their finger in a hole and pushing a plastic disc.
Cruel animal experimenters use the same metal poles, sterile cells and even guillotines torture and kill animals that they have used since Dwight D. Eisenhower was president. They torture animals in experiments cooked in their deepest febrile dreams, despite knowing full well that more than 90% of basic researchmost of which involve animal testing will fail benefit humanity.
Here’s a case in point: Elizabeth Murray, National Institute of Mental Health experimenter whose experiments on monkeys as medieval as senseless, he carved monkey skulls, fought their brains, and then exposed them to their worst fears for more than 30 years… No medicine came out of it, no cure for people – nothing.
Better techniques and new technologies exist
This is not the 1400s. For heaven’s sake, each of us carries a powerful computer in our pocket, the processing power of which is 100,000 times greater than the computing power of the computer that landed people on the moon. Murray could have used one of several safe, reliably tested, non-animal methods for the study of brain activity per it is the types of behavior she tries to measure on monkeys.
Experimenters must join 21st Century
In today’s world, you can stream live video from space to check out the astronauts of the International Space Station and order a coffee to go from your favorite java hut – at the same time. Our technology is more advanced than ever, and animal experimenters can’t keep up. Murray needs to stop killing monkeys and pretend it’s science. This will not only end the suffering of countless hundreds of monkeys, but also preliminary research what is actually a chance helping people who desperately need it…
People did not walk on the moon, continuing to do the same things that we did 30 years ago. A bold new path was mapped out, one that no one had heard of before and which was considered impossible. If science really is about learning, a journey of discovery, then animal experimentation, including Murray’s experiments– already told us what we need to know: it’s time to move on.
